Description

We are currently recruiting for a Workshop Controller / Warranty Administrator on behalf of our client, a reputable main dealership located in Dunstable, Bedfordshire. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced professional to join a growing automotive business and further develop their career within a well-established team.

Workshop Controller Vacancy Key Benefits:

Basic salary of £34,000 with potential earnings of up to £40,000 OTE

Allocate work to technicians based on skills, workload, and deadlines

Lead and support a team of technicians, ensuring productive workshop operations

Monitor workshop efficiency and ensure timely completion of repairs

Check job cards and technician work for accuracy and completeness

Cost additional work, support upselling initiatives, and ensure customer satisfaction

Conduct vehicle health checks and liaise with Service Advisors to keep customers informed

Process and submit warranty claims accurately and efficiently

Manage warranty payments, credit notes, and warranty schedules to ensure compliance and cash flowWorkshop Controller / Warranty Administrator requirements:

Proven experience as a Workshop Controller, Workshop Foreman, or similar role

Supervisory experience managing technicians in a fast-paced environment

Strong knowledge of vehicle repair processes and workshop procedures

Previous warranty administration experience is desirable

Excellent organisational, communication, and IT skills

Ability to work under pressure and prioritise effectively
