Wheel Refurbishment Technician – Nights
We are one of the UK’s Largest Independent S.M.A.R.T Repair Companies.
With customers based far and wide across the UK, our ever-growing business needs dependable people to join our successful wheel refurbishment night shift team.
The Job
* 22:45 – 08:15
* Sunday night - Friday morning
* £32,000
* Orpington BR6
Duties
* Taking wheels off cars using a standard jack and air jack
* Fitting and stripping tyres using a tyre machine
* Using acid to remove debris and paintwork
* Carrying wheels up to 23” – Heavy lifting / manual handling
* Welding and Straightening
* Preparing for painting
* Painting wheels (eventually with training)
* Using different tools and machinery
Experience
* Automotive xjnqpsq background working with wheels and tyres
Requirements
* Valid full UK driving licence
* Right to work in the UK
* Good timekeeper
* Physically fit and able to lift weight
* Good listening skills
