Description
Job Title: Welder Fabricator
Location: Worcestershire
Salary: £16 - £17 an hour
The Welder Fabricator will be responsible for welding and fabricating high-quality components to meet precise specifications and deadlines. The role requires a high level of technical skill, attention to detail, and an understanding of various welding techniques and fabrication processes. This position involves working with a range of materials, including steel, aluminum, and other alloys, to produce components that meet safety, quality, and design standards.
What you'll do as the Welder Fabricator:
MIG Weld/fabricate to a high standard (heavy up to 20mm gauge)
Align components and connect them using various welding techniques
Smoothing molten metal to remove creases
Testing welded surfaces
Weld components using manual or semi-automatic equipment
Calculate dimensions of parts to be welded
Accurately work from and interpret detailed drawings
Able to adhere to PPE standards
Maintain a safe working environment, always keeping areas clear
What you'll need to have as Welder Fabricator:
Welder/Fabricator: at least 3 - 4 years’ experience.
Working with commercial vehicles (desirable)
Ideally have experience in plasma cutting, oxy acetylene cutting and manual press brake operations.
