We are recruiting on behalf of a reputable vintage restoration company based in Croydon for the role of Vehicle Technician - Air Cooled Engines. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled Vehicle Technician with specialised experience in air cooled engines to join a team dedicated to classic vehicle restoration. The ideal individual will be passionate about working on vintage and historic vehicles, primarily focusing on air-cooled petrol engines such as Porsche or Volkswagen models.

Competitive basic salary of up to £40,000 per annum, dependent on experience

Working hours from 8 AM to 5 PM, Monday to Friday, with a one-hour lunch break

Opportunity to develop technical expertise in air cooled enginesDuties of a Vehicle Technician:

Executing servicing and repairs on vintage vehicles, with a focus on air cooled petrol engines

Fault diagnosis and engine servicing on classic vehicles

Performing hands-on mechanical tasks, ensuring timely and high-quality work

Maintaining detailed records of all work completed

Working within tooling constraints, relying on manual and diagnostic skills specific to air cooled engines

Ensuring all work complies with safety and quality standardsRequirements of a Vehicle Technician:

Proven experience as a Vehicle Technician, particularly with air cooled or vintage petrol engines

Strong mechanical skills with hands-on experience in engine servicing and repairs

Diagnostic proficiency specific to classic air-cooled engines

Knowledge of vintage air-cooled engines or similar is highly desirable

Ability to work independently and efficiently xjnqpsq within a team environment
