Vehicle Technician – Shrewsbury, Shropshire
We are recruiting on behalf of our client, a reputable Main Dealer in Shrewsbury, for a skilled Vehicle Technician. This is an excellent opportunity for experienced automotive professionals seeking a stable role with a supportive team, offering excellent work-life balance and career development prospects.
Benefits of a Vehicle Technician:
Basic salary up to £35,000, dependent on experience
OTE of up to £40,000
Monday to Friday working, with a 40-hour week and no weekend shifts

Ongoing training and professional development opportunitiesDuties of a Vehicle Technician:
Conduct routine servicing, maintenance, and repairs according to manufacturer standards
Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults using advanced diagnostic equipment
Complete inspections and repairs accurately and efficiently
Work collaboratively with the workshop team to meet workload deadlines
Ensure all job cards and workshop documentation are correctly maintained
Maintain a high standard of customer service and communication throughout the repair processRequirements of a Vehicle Technician:
Level 3 NVQ or equivalent qualification in Light Vehicle Maintenance & Repair
Proven experience as a Vehicle Technician within a dealership or independent workshop
Strong diagnostic skills and fault-finding abilities
MOT Licence is advantageous but not essential
