Description
Our global motorcycle manufacturing client is urgently looking to fill the following role:
Systems Requirements Engineer EV - Market Rate - Leicestershire - Initial 6 months (potential to roll)
Job Purpose
Form part of the UK technical EV team to support the wider EV structure. Responsibility for execution of motorcycle programme development and deliverables. Requirements capture and distillation for future developments. Support the programme with hands on technical support in the UK.
Key Responsibilities
- Technical specifications to deliver to suppliers or internally
- Technical drawings, diagrams and flow charts to deliver to suppliers or internally
- Preparation of test cases for validation
- Failure analysis of systems/CAN logs
- Vehicle and component level testing
Qualifications:
- BEng or higher in Engineering discipline
- 4+ years electrical/systems engineering experience (hands-on preferred)
Key skills
- Understanding of distributed vehicle systems, vehicle architectures, concepts, and V-model approach
- Distillation of requirements from product attribute definitions
- Understanding of electrical/electronic components/modules
- Fault finding and troubleshooting
- Experience with Vector CAN tools
Additional Information:
This role is on a contract basis and is Inside IR35.
