Are you an experienced Service Advisor looking to join a busy, professional dealership where your performance is recognised and rewarded?

We are recruiting for a Service Advisor to join an established main dealership in Solihull. This is an excellent opportunity for an automotive Service Advisor who enjoys building relationships with customers, managing a busy workshop diary and maximising aftersales opportunities.

Clear long-term career progressionService Advisor Role As a Service Advisor, your responsibilities will include:

Acting as a key point of contact for customers throughout the aftersales process

Booking vehicles into the workshop for servicing, maintenance and repairs

Managing workshop diaries and scheduling work

Liaising closely with Vehicle Technicians and workshop management

Providing customers with accurate estimates for repairs and servicing

Explaining costs, timescales and required work clearly and professionally

Keeping customers updated throughout their vehicle's time in the workshop

Obtaining customer authorisation for additional work

Promoting additional products, services, parts and accessories where appropriate

Maximising sales opportunities while maintaining excellent customer service

Ensuring customer records and relevant documentation are completed accurately

Working towards departmental customer satisfaction and performance targetsService Advisor Requirements

Previous experience as a Service Advisor within the automotive industry at a Main Dealer is essential

Main dealership or established independent garage experience considered

Strong automotive aftersales knowledge

Excellent face-to-face and telephone communication skills

Confident discussing servicing, maintenance and repair requirements with customers

Strong organisational and diary-management skills

Commercially aware with the ability to identify and maximise sales opportunities

Comfortable working towards targets and KPIs

Able to manage multiple customers and priorities in a busy environment

Professional and customer-focused approach
