Service Advisor

Canterbury Area

A busy main dealer in Canterbury is looking for a confident, customer-focused Service Advisor to join its service team.

This role offers a varied day-to-day, working across reception, administration, and parts, with clear bonus opportunities and structured hours.

Responsibilities

* Welcome and assist service customers with professionalism and efficiency

* Manage bookings, enquiries, and service schedules

* Prepare and progress digital job cards using Service Docs

* Coordinate with technicians, parts, and management teams

* Promote retention products and upsell vehicle health checks where appropriate

* Contribute to excellent customer satisfaction and repeat business

Requirements

* Full UK driving licence

* Strong communication and organisational skills

* Confidence in a busy, fast-moving environment

* Motivated by targets and bonus opportunities

* Automotive experience is a plus but not essential; transferable skills from retail, hospitality, or other customer-facing roles are welcomed

Salary and Benefits

* Basic salary £30,000-£31,000

* Bonus averaging £200–£500 per month for bookings, selling retention products, VHC upsells, and CSI scores.

* Monday–Friday: 8:00am–6:00pm

* 1st Saturday of the month: 8:00am–2:00pm
