Job Title:Semi Skilled Assembly Operative

Location: Basildon

Pay: £16.49ph

Hours of work: day shift Mon - Thur 07:00-16:00 Fri 07:30-12:30

Job Type: Full-time, Permanent

AMLR are looking for an Assember looking to join a leading aerospace manufacturer? This is an exciting opportunity to work within a precision engineering environment.

Key responsibilities for Semi Skilled Assembly Operative:

To carry out assembly of aircraft components to customer defined specification and standard.

Requirements for Semi Skilled Assembly Operative:

* Ability to work on assembly of new parts with solid rivets using hand & air riveting tools & other equipment for the purpose required.

* Visual inspection of completed products

* Full knowledge and experience of using Vernier’s and other specialist measuring tools

* Experience of working to adjust sheet metal parts for assembly

* Current experience of the use of air tools i.e. drills / rivet press / rivet guns

* Experience of using sealants

* Engineering background ideally in aerospace industry

* Experience of reading, interpreting engineering drawings and specifications

* Experience of working with a number of different materials and finishes

* Attention to detail

* Problem solving skills

* Utilising a range of hand tools

* Finish xjnqpsq precision engineering products
