Pay: £20 per hour

PSV Technician - York
Join a well-respected company in York as a PSV Engineer, where your expertise will be recognised and your professional growth supported.
The ideal candidate will be an electrically bias Mechanical/Electrical Engineer within the heavy vehicle automotive sector.
What you’ll be doing in your new PSV Engineer role:
Diagnosing and repairing vehicle faults, servicing, and replacing parts as needed
Identifying issues accurately and recommending the correct method of repair and parts required
Performing routine inspections and servicing using handheld data capture devices (where applicable)
Attending roadside breakdowns and supporting vehicle recoveries
Road-testing vehicles to confirm issues or check work after repairsRequirements for your new PSV Technician role:
NVQ Level 3 or City & Guilds in Heavy Vehicle Maintenance or 5 Years+ Time served as HGV/PSV Technician
A full UK driving licence.
Confidence working in a busy workshop environment.What you can expect from your new PSV Engineer role:
Competitive pay: £20 Per Hour + Plenty of Over time available
Optional overtime available
Tight-knit team with great workshop facilities
Every additional training module completed increases rate by 20p P/H (Circa £5k per annum after completing 10 training modules)
