We are recruiting on behalf of a reputable workshop in Dartford for an experienced Motorcycle Technician / MOT Tester.
This is a rare opportunity for a skilled Motorcycle Technician / MOT Tester to join a well-established business and progress their career in a dynamic and supportive environment.
The Motorcycle Technician / MOT Tester role offers a comprehensive package and the chance to work with a diverse range of motorcycles, delivering high standards of service.
Benefits:
Up to £36,000 annual salary, with overtime and incentives raising earnings to approximately £40,000 per year
Full-time, permanent position with a standard Monday to Friday schedule
Opportunity for optional Saturday mornings, with time off in lieu for Saturday hours worked
20 days holiday plus bank holidays, enhancing work-life balance
Supportive team environment with a fully equipped workshop
Opportunities to develop technical skills through varied motorcycle repairs and MOT testingDuties:
Conduct motorcycle repairs, servicing, diagnostics, and fault finding
Perform MOT testing in accordance with industry standards
Advise customers on repair options and explain faults clearly
Maintain accurate service and repair records
Ensure workshop safety, cleanliness, and organization at all times
Assist the team in achieving productivity targets
Deliver exceptional customer serviceRequirements:
Proven experience as a Motorcycle Technician / MOT Tester
Current MOT Testing qualification (Class 1 preferred)
Strong diagnostic skills and sound technical knowledge of motorcycles
Excellent attention to detail and organisational abilities
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
