Our client, a reputable family-run automotive garage in Leatherhead, Surrey, is seeking an experienced MOT Tester to join their dedicated team. The successful individual will be responsible for performing MOT tests on a range of vehicle types, including cars, motorbikes, mini buses, and vans, ensuring compliance with DVSA guidelines.

Monday to Friday working hours, 8:00 am to 6:00 pm

Sessional Saturdays on a rota basis to promote work-life balanceDuties of a MOT Tester:

Conduct MOT tests efficiently and with precision, adhering to DVSA standards

Diagnose and report vehicle faults, offering professional advice to customers

Complete all documentation accurately and promptly as a MOT Tester

Maintain a clean, safe, and organised workshop environment

Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations at all timesRequirements of a MOT Tester:

Qualified MOT Tester with relevant certifications, such as NVQ Level 3 or equivalent

Proven experience in conducting MOT tests and fault diagnosis

Strong attention to detail with the ability xjnqpsq to work effectively under pressure

Excellent communication skills and a customer-focused approach
