Description

Our client in the aerospace sector is currently seeking a skilled Aircraft Mechanic to join their team on a contract basis at RAF Marham. This role involves working full-time onsite within the Military, Air & Information (MAI) discipline on the F35 programme. This is an excellent opportunity to join a dynamic maintenance team and work in a fast-paced, rigorous environment focused on fast jet operations.

Key Responsibilities:

Ensure all maintenance activities are conducted in accordance with the Approved Technical Information and relevant risk assessments

Document all activities appropriately and maintain all airworthiness records

Compile reports, identify issues, and escalate as necessary

Comply with the organisation's Maintenance Organisation Exposition (MOE), its associated procedures and standards, and any other company procedures

Understand and apply human factors and error management within maintenance practices

Ensure maintenance activities comply with the Continuing Airworthiness Assurance Management system

Perform a range of maintenance tasks including aircraft role changes, component removals, inspections, repairs, modifications, fault rectifications, replacements, and functional/system tests

Complete maintenance instructions and schedules for planned and unplanned tasks, including diagnostic procedures

Job Requirements:

Experience in applying EASA/MRP Part 145 regulations in maintenance environments

A demonstrable log book showcasing breadth of experience, currency, and recency of skills in working on aircraft or in xjnqpsq workshops

Experience in working on complex military aircraft programmes

Completion of an Engineering Apprenticeship, ideally in Aeronautical Engineering, or equivalent military qualifications

Academic qualifications such as City & Guilds 2675 or 2661 in Aeronautical Engineering and Maintenance or equivalent
