Description
We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced job seeker for the position of Part Time HGV Technician with our client based in Welwyn Garden City, Hertfordshire. This is an excellent opportunity for qualified HGV technicians looking for flexible working hours within a busy fleet workshop environment.
Benefits for the successful HGV Technician:
Flexible working days, up to four days per week
Competitive hourly rate of £17 per hour
Hours worked between 7am and 5pm

Regular salary reviews and pay enhancementsDuties:
Conduct diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining HGVs in accordance with manufacturer specifications
Ensure that work areas are maintained in a safe, clean, and organised manner
Complete service and repair documentation accurately and efficiently
Adhere strictly to health and safety protocols within the workshop
Assist with general workshop duties to support team efforts
Work productively to meet targets without compromising on quality standardsRequirements:
Proven experience as an HGV Technician or in a similar role
Full, valid HGV technician qualification (City & Guilds / NVQ Level 3 or equivalent)
Knowledge and competence with diagnostic equipment and heavy vehicle repair standards
Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety and quality
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Flexible attitude towards working up to four days per week
