Are you an experienced Garage Manager looking for an exciting leadership opportunity within a well-established family-run business? Our client, a reputable independent garage based in Horsham, West Sussex, is seeking a dedicated and skilled Garage Manager to oversee daily operations and drive the success of their busy workshop.

Competitive basic salary of £40,000 per annum
Flexible working hours to suit the right candidate, typically Monday to Friday, 12 to 45 hours per week

Oversee workshop operations ensuring high standards of service
Lead and motivate the technicians and workshop staff
Manage customer relationships and ensure customer satisfaction
Planning and organisation of daily garage activities
Maintain health and safety standards within the workshop
Assist in technician supervision and performance management
Support workshop sales and profitability initiativesCandidate specifications for the Garage Manager role:
Proven experience in garage management or workshop supervision
Strong leadership and team management skills
Excellent organisational and communication abilities
Knowledge of all makes and models of vehicles
Good understanding of automotive workshop processes
Ability to work flexibly and adapt to changing demands
Motivated with a proactive approach to problem-solving
