Composite Technician

This role is being advertised by Arden White. We are a specialist engineering recruitment agency supporting aviation, aerospace and defence businesses across the UK and internationally.

We are currently supporting a leading aviation organisation with the recruitment of Composite Repair Technician on a permanent basis

Key responsibilities:

Carrying out maintenance of aircraft as defined by our customers’ requirements/List of Work.

Carrying out repairs to composite airframe structure

Maintaining the upkeep of the composite room and equipment and keeping all necessary records up to date including the composite procedures.

Working in accordance with Company procedures giving due consideration to Human Factors philosophy

Ensuring correct completion of all maintenance paperwork and forms in a timely manner

Informing Engineers of any adverse issues affecting safety, productivity and progression of work.

Ensuring correct storage of aircraft components and tooling

Person Specification:

Experience Proven track record, typically in aviation maintenance (however other industries will be considered)

Composite repair experience

Ability to read and understand engineering repair drawings.

Ability to use recognized aircraft documentation, including the Aircraft Maintenance Manuals
