CNC Miller

Location: Southend-On-Sea

Salary: £29,500 per annum

Working hours: Monday-Thursday, 8:00am-5:00pm and Friday, 8:00am-1:00pm.

Key Responsibilities

Manufacture small-batch precision components using horizontal and vertical machining centres.

Work to tight tolerances, following detailed engineering drawings.

Use a range of measuring equipment to verify component accuracy.

Perform final drilling, deburring, and packing of machined parts.

Support other functions within the manufacturing area, including Assembly, Machine Shop, and Fabrication.

Complete all assigned tasks efficiently, maintaining high standards of quality and safety.

Skills & Experience Required

GCSEs (or equivalent) in Maths and English, Grade C or above (preferred).

Formal CNC training (advantageous).

Proven CNC Milling experience. Experience in Aerospace or Automotive manufacturing (preferred).

Proficient working with metal materials.

Strong ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.

Competent in using metric and imperial measurements.

Computer literate with a methodical approach.

Able to work independently and as part of a team.

Comfortable working under pressure and to tight deadlines.
