3 Axis CNC Machinist – Setter Operator

Days | £16.00–£20.00 per hour | 28 Days Holiday + Pension

An established precision engineering and manufacturing business is looking for an experienced 3 Axis CNC Machinist / Setter Operator to join its production team.

Working within a busy engineering environment, you will be responsible for setting and operating 3 Axis CNC machinery to manufacture precision engineered components.

The Role

Set and operate 3 Axis CNC machines

Manufacture precision machined components to engineering drawings

Carry out machine set-ups and tool changes

Check completed components using appropriate measuring equipment

Maintain quality standards throughout production

Work closely with the wider manufacturing and engineering team

What We're Looking For

You should have previous experience working as a CNC Setter Operator, CNC Machinist or CNC Miller within an engineering or manufacturing environment.

You will need to be confident setting CNC machinery rather than purely operating pre-set machines, with a good understanding of engineering drawings and component quality. xjnqpsq

This is a permanent days position offering a competitive hourly rate of £16.00–£20.00 per hour, depending on experience, alongside 28 days' holiday and pension.
