Vintage Alessi 5052 Wine Cooler / Champagne Bucket by Ettore Sottsass – Rare Oval Handle Variant – Made in Italy
Authentic vintage Alessi 5052 wine cooler / champagne bucket in mirror-polished 18/10 stainless steel, designed by legendary Italian designer Ettore Sottsass.
This is an uncommon early-production version featuring the rarer oval handle ends, unlike the more commonly seen later round-handle examples found in current catalogues and online listings. The simpler “ALESSI / ITALY / INOX 18/10” maker’s mark and construction details strongly suggest an earlier vintage production run.
A striking piece of postmodern Italian barware and a highly collectible example of classic Alessi design.
Very good vintage condition with light age-related surface marks and signs of use consistent with age. Presents beautifully with excellent shine and no major dents or damage.
