Description

This handsome, vintage minimalist-revival style solid timber bed frame balances architectural design with an understated low-profile aesthetic. Superbly constructed from premium, hardwood that features a rich chestnut-toned finish showcasing high-quality grain. The elegant headboard gently curves back into a refined panelled layout, while the matching low-profile footboard features classic architectural corner geometry and unique structural alignment blocks running across the bottom horizontal base sections. The interior mattress chassis features a robust, heavy-duty array of thick timber slats designed to comfortably support a mattress without any sagging or structural shifting.

This listing is for the bedframe only – does not include a mattress.

📐 Dimensions & Sizing (Approx.)
• Mattress Compatibility: Fits a standard UK King Size Mattress (150 x 200 cm)
• Approximate Outer Footprint: Width 164 cm | Length 214 cm
• Clearance Height (Bottom Edge to Floor): Approx. 10 – 15 cm

✨ Features & Condition
• Materials: Premium solid hardwood core and faces; traditional multi-stage chestnut stain; custom white timber structural spacer blocks on the footboard base.

• Design & Utility: Sleek low-profile frame that neatly docks inside built-in bedroom alcoves or stands independent. Provides clean, grounded styling with a robust slat support system. It’s easy to assemble and disassemble. Takes about 10 mins to slot the outer frame of the bed together. No tools required.

• Condition: Good condition. The frame structure is very stable and square. The timber faces retain a beautiful optical depth with only minor, expected superficial domestic scuffs from general use, which can easily be nourished with wax.

• Note on Repair: During our recent move, the movers caused a short clean split along the natural wood grain on one of the inner side beams where the slats slot in – see last picture. Because this is dense, genuine solid wood, it has been fixed with high strength glue and functionally OK, ready to be assembled and slept on. Priced lower to reflect this!

Original Purchase Price was 30,000 HKD (Approx. £2,390 new). Receipt available.
