Beautiful Feather & Black Henley Super King Bed Frame in the sought-after Nickel finish.

This bed is approximately 4 years old and has been used by one adult only. It is in very good overall condition and presents extremely well, with a bright polished finish and no obvious dents, damage or significant scratching. Please read on for full details on condition.

The bed has been carefully dismantled and all fixings have been organised into clearly labelled envelopes to make reassembly as straightforward as possible. A printed copy of the original Feather & Black assembly instructions is included.

CONDITION

The frame is structurally sound and the slats are in excellent condition.

IMPORTANT CONDITION NOTE

One of the decorative finials (the ball-shaped ornament at the foot end of the bed) is no longer sitting in its original position and sits lower than the matching finial on the opposite side.

From our inspection, it appears that the finial has either become detached from, or loosened from, its original fixing point and has dropped down slightly on the post. The finial remains attached to the bed but no longer sits flush in the same way as the matching finial. It sits around an inch lower.

This is shown clearly in the photographs and has been intentionally highlighted for complete transparency.

As far as we can tell, this is a cosmetic issue only. It does not affect the stability, strength or normal use of the bed frame in any way.

We have not attempted to dismantle or repair this part and therefore cannot guarantee whether it can be adjusted or repaired, although a buyer with more practical experience may wish to investigate this themselves.

The bed is being sold exactly as shown in the photographs and priced accordingly.

A number of replacement slat holders have been purchased and will be included. Some of these replacement holders are grey rather than black. This does not affect function in any way and is not visible during normal use once a mattress is in place.

COLLECTION, COURIERS & TRANSPORT

One fixing within the frame has seized and we elected not to force it in order to avoid causing damage.

As a result, one of the main frame sections remains assembled.

For this reason, buyers should bring a suitable van or other appropriately sized vehicle and satisfy themselves that the bed will fit both:

• Their vehicle
• Their property and access route

The bed is already dismantled and organised, so loading should only take a few minutes.

Street parking is usually available nearby, although naturally this cannot be guaranteed.

We are generally quite flexible regarding collection days and times and will do our best to accommodate the buyer where possible.

Courier collection is welcome if arranged by the buyer. However, courier collection will be treated in exactly the same way as collection by the buyer themselves.

The buyer (or their courier/representative) is responsible for checking that the item is suitable prior to collection.

Once the bed has been collected by either the buyer or a courier acting on their behalf, it will be deemed accepted as described and no returns, refunds or claims can be accepted for condition, suitability, transport, access or assembly-related issues.
