Days/Hours: 5½ days per week preferred (ideally Sunday and a half day off during the week) | Open to 6 or 7 days per week

A private household based in St John’s Wood are seeking an experienced and reliable temporary housekeeper to assist with the smooth running of their home during a one-month placement. The family ideally require cover for 5½ days per week, with Sundays and one half day off during the week, although they are flexible for candidates available for 6 or 7 days per week.

The ideal candidate will be organised, hardworking and able to maintain high standards throughout the home. Someone proactive, flexible and happy to assist with some cooking will be well suited to this role. The household also has one dog, so a pet-friendly candidate is essential. Previous experience in a similar role and excellent references are required.

Duties include:

general housekeeping and maintaining cleanliness throughout the home
laundry, ironing and wardrobe care
making beds and changing bed linen
keeping the home tidy, organised and well presented
assisting with some meal preparation and cooking
maintaining kitchen cleanliness and organisation
helping ensure the household runs smoothly on a daily basis
