Description
Role: Live-in Housekeeper
Location: South of France (near Saint-Tropez)
Contract: Fixed-term
Dates: 1st July – 30th August 2026
Schedule: Monday to Saturday
Hours: 8 hours per day (48 hours per week)
Accommodation: Provided
Salary: €3,000 – €4,000 net per month, dependent on experience (for the right candidate)
A wonderful opportunity has arisen for an experienced and professional Housekeeper to join a private household for the summer season in the South of France.
Working for two principals and their three adult children, you will be responsible for maintaining the residence to a high standard, ensuring a smooth and well-run household environment throughout their stay.
You will work alongside a small team, including a private chef and a part-time ironing lady.
Interviewing/trialing now for a 1st July start date.
Duties and responsibilities;
Full housekeeping of the property to a high standard
Daily cleaning, organisation, and upkeep of all living areas
Ensuring the home is consistently well-presented
Liaising with the chef and assisting with light food preparation when required
Coordinating with the ironing lady to ensure smooth laundry operations
Supporting the overall day-to-day running of the household
To be considered for this role you must;
Be fluent in French or English Language
Holds the rights to work in France
Have 5+ years of experience working within a private household as a Housekeeper
Possess a background check
Have excellent contactable references
