Rota Housekeeper, 1 week on / 1 week off. Monday to Friday, Wimbledon - £60k GPA

Join a busy, beautifully run family home in Wimbledon Village. We’re looking for an experienced housekeeper to work on a 1 week on / 1 week off rota in a large, high-end private residence. You’ll be part of a team of three housekeepers, helping with the daily upkeep of the home, and working alongside the PA and Estate Manager who work from the house a few days per week.

The household includes three children and two lovely dogs (a giant Schnauzer and a spaniel). This role is perfect for someone with private household, chalet, or stewardess experience who enjoys a varied role in a warm, lively home, takes pride in their work, and maintains the highest standards.

Duties include:

• Daily cleaning to an exceptional standard

• Laundry, ironing and wardrobe management

• Care of delicate items, clothing and fine furnishings

• Managing household supplies and replenishing as needed

• Running errands and handling deliveries

• Prepare simple family-style meals

• Managing the weekly food shop

• Liaising with and overseeing contractors

• Help look after the children, including school or activity pick-ups

• Pet care

• Covering other household staff within a 10-mile radius when needed

The ideal candidate will have significant experience working in a large private home, chalet, or similar. They will be reliable, discreet, and hardworking, and proactive with excellent problem-solving skills. They are able to stay calm under pressure and are both pet- and child-friendly with a warm, approachable manner. You must be a driver and live within easy reach of Wimbledon Village.

Days/hours: One week of on-site attendance Monday - Friday 8am - 8pm, followed by one week on an on-call basis Monday - Friday 8am - 8pm.

Salary: £60k gpa
