Stanton Miller Recruitment is seeking an experienced, energetic and highly reliable Private Houseman / Housekeeper for a private couple in Central London.

This is a hands-on, traditional housekeeping position working for a couple of hours each day, Monday to Friday.

The role would suit someone practical, energetic and physically capable who is happy to get stuck in and assist with the day-to-day upkeep and organisation of the home.

Excellent ironing skills are an absolute prerequisite for this position.

Duties will include:

General housekeeping and cleaning
Laundry and ironing to an exceptional standard
Garment and clothing care
Keeping the residence clean, tidy and well presented
Putting away and organising household items
Receiving and putting away deliveries
Moving and organising boxes and household items when required
General practical household assistance

The successful candidate will be exceptionally reliable, punctual and trustworthy, with a strong work ethic and the ability to work independently.

You should be energetic, hands-on and physically comfortable with an active role, including lifting and moving household items when required.

Previous private household or high-standard housekeeping experience is preferred.

Location: Central London

Hours: Monday–Friday, a couple of hours per day

Salary: £18–£24 per hour, depending on experience
