PRIVATE HOUSEKEEPER – ANGEL, ISLINGTON (PART-TIME)

Pay: £22.00-£28.00 per hour

Job description:

We are seeking an experienced, discreet, and detail-oriented private housekeeper to assist a small household of two adults (no children, no pets) in Angel, Islington.

Hours: 6 to 12 hours per week (2 x 3 hour visits or 3 x 3 hour visits or 4 x 3 hour visits). Schedule to be mutually agreed with the successful candidate. There may be opportunities to take on additional hours in the future, depending on the household's needs and your availability.

Compensation: 22-28.

Key Responsibilities:

Meticulous cleaning of a two-bedroom, two-bathroom flat, including deep cleans of appliances (oven, fridge, etc.).
Dusting, sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dishwashing, and bathroom care to a high standard.
Wardrobe management: light organisation, seasonal changes, and garment care.
Laundry: washing, ironing (including delicates), and folding.
Keeping the kitchen and fridge well-stocked with agreed household essentials.
Occasional personal errands.
Bed making and linen changes.
Monitoring and replenishing household supplies.
Waste disposal and recycling.
Packing and unpacking for travel, ensuring garments and items are well presented.

Preferred (Bonus) Skills:

Basic food preparation and light cooking.
Service and hospitality touches (e.g., preparing tea/coffee, setting out refreshments, ensuring a welcoming home environment).

Requirements:

Minimum 1 year's experience in a private household.
Strong, checkable references.
Excellent attention to detail and the ability to work independently.
Discretion and respect for privacy.
