Part Time Housekeeper

Description

We are looking for an experienced and reliable housekeeper to help maintain a clean, organised, and well-presented home. The ideal candidate will take pride in their work, have excellent attention to detail, and be comfortable managing all aspects of household cleaning and organisation with minimal supervision.

Key Responsibilities

General cleaning of all rooms, including dusting, vacuuming, and mopping.
Deep cleaning of kitchens, bathrooms, and living areas.
Laundry, ironing, and care of delicate fabrics.
Organising cupboards, wardrobes, and storage areas.
Cleaning and caring for natural stone surfaces (e.g., marble, limestone, granite) using appropriate products.
Managing household supplies and notifying when items need restocking.
Occasional assistance with light errands or household organisation projects.
Food preparation and light cooking/baking

Requirements

Proven experience as a housekeeper or cleaner in a private household.
Excellent attention to detail and pride in maintaining high standards.
Trustworthy, punctual, and reliable.
Knowledge of appropriate cleaning products and methods for different surfaces, particularly natural stone.
Ability to work independently and follow instructions carefully.
Discretion and respect for privacy.
Non smoker

Preferred

Experience with fine fabrics and garment care.
Strong organisational skills.
References from previous employers.

Compensation

Competitive hourly rate, depending on experience.
