A lovely household based in Forest Row, East Sussex are looking for a reliable and experienced part time housekeeper to help maintain their home to a high standard. This is a regular position offering two days per week, with 5 hours per session and some flexibility around the days.

The ideal candidate will be organised, thorough and comfortable working independently. They should take pride in their work, have good attention to detail and be happy working in a home with pets. A driver is required for the position.

Duties include:

carrying out general housekeeping duties throughout the home
cleaning and tidying bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchen and living areas
vacuuming, mopping, dusting and polishing household surfaces
laundry and ironing
making beds and changing bed linen
keeping the home clean, tidy and well organised
maintaining a clean and organised kitchen
washing up and tidying after meals
organising household items and keeping everything in its place
checking household supplies and letting the family know when items need replenishing
carrying out occasional additional household tasks when required
being comfortable working around pets
