A lovely client based in Hampstead is seeking an experienced part time housekeeper / companion to provide practical household support and friendly companionship. This is a rewarding opportunity for a kind, organised and reliable candidate who enjoys helping others while maintaining a clean, comfortable and welcoming home.

The ideal candidate will be proactive, personable and able to work independently while offering companionship and day-to-day assistance. Applicants should also be comfortable working in a pet-friendly household with two dogs and two cats. Previous experience in a similar private household role and excellent references are essential.

Duties include:

maintaining high standards of housekeeping throughout the home
cleaning kitchens, bathrooms, bedrooms and living areas
vacuuming, mopping, dusting and polishing household surfaces
laundry, ironing and wardrobe care
making beds and changing bed linen
keeping the home tidy, organised and well presented
maintaining a clean and organised kitchen
monitoring household supplies and reporting when items need replenishing
running household errands and grocery shopping when required
providing companionship and conversation
accompanying the client on local outings or appointments if required
assisting with light household administration when needed
being comfortable around the household’s two dogs and two cats
helping ensure the home remains a safe, welcoming and comfortable environment
