Days: 5 days per week, including fixed Saturdays and Sundays

Hours: 40 hours per week. Saturday & Sunday 8:00am–8:00pm, with reduced hours across three weekdays

Salary: £55,000–£60,000 GPA

We are looking for an experienced, reliable and discreet full-time Housekeeper to join a private household on a permanent basis.

This is a five-day position with Saturday and Sunday as fixed working days, along with three weekdays. Weekend hours will be 8:00am–8:00pm, with reduced hours across three weekdays to make up a 40-hour working week. On weekends the Housekeeper will work independently, during the weekdays they will work alongside a small team of household staff.

The role will combine high-standard housekeeping with breakfast preparation and simple, healthy cooking.

There is a small dog in the household so the Housekeeper must be pet friendly and happy to take the dog for walks, vets and groomers if necessary.

Duties & Responsibilities

Maintaining the household to a consistently high standard of cleanliness and presentation General cleaning, tidying and organisation throughout the home Laundry, ironing and wardrobe care Changing and refreshing bed linen and towels ⁠Keeping bedrooms, bathrooms and living areas clean, organised and well-presented ⁠Managing household supplies and flagging when items need replenishing ⁠Breakfast preparation chia seeds/chia pudding, eggs and fresh fruit Preparing simple, healthy meals using fresh ingredients (chicken, fish and vegetable-based dishes) Following approximately six regular household recipes and preparing them consistently Keeping the kitchen clean and organised, including cleaning down after meal preparation Maintaining excellent standards of hygiene and food storage Assisting with general household tasks as required

To be considered for this role you must;

Have 5+ years of experience working as a Housekeeper within a private household Be fluent in English Holds the rights to work in the UK Have excellent contactable references Have (/ be willing to obtain) an up-to-date DBS certificate
