Role: Live-out Housekeeper

Hours: 40 hours

Days: 6 days per week

Location: Belsize Park, North West London

Contract: Permanent

Salary: £72,000 - £89,000 gross per annum (DOE)

Start date: Flexible

An experienced, proactive and personable Housekeeper is sought to take day-to-day ownership of a high-standard private residence in Belsize Park, North West London.

The principal travels regularly, so the successful candidate must be equally confident working discreetly around the family and wider household team, or independently while the property is unoccupied. No cooking is required.

When the principal is travelling you will be required to attend according to an agreed schedule to keep the property clean, secure, organised and ready for use. Quieter periods should be used for deeper cleaning, laundry, storage projects and preparations for the household's return.

The ideal person will be trustworthy, observant, organised, flexible, warm and genuinely interested in a long-term position. Background checks and a non-disclosure agreement will apply.

Interviewing/trialling now, start date flexible.

Duties;

Maintain the residence to an immaculate standard through excellent daily and deep cleaning, with appropriate care for furnishings, finishes and household items.
Manage laundry, ironing, fabric care, bed linen and the orderly presentation of wardrobes, linen cupboards and storage areas.
Prepare the home thoroughly before the principal’s arrival and restore it following periods of residence, guests or entertaining.
Receive post, packages and deliveries; monitor household and cleaning supplies; and advise when products or equipment need replacing.
Proactively improve household organisation and flag maintenance issues, breakages or anything unusual to the appropriate team member.
Work warmly and collaboratively with the household's chefs and wider team while maintaining discretion, privacy and professional boundaries.

To be considered for this role you must;

Hold the rights to work within the UK
Have 3+ years of experience working as a Housekeeper within a private household
Have excellent contactable references
Be fluent in English
Hold (/be willing to get) an up-to-date DBS certificate
