Hours: 45 hours per week (11.30am – 8.30pm)

Days: Monday – Friday

Location: South Kensington, London

Contract: Permanent

Salary: £50,000 - £55,0000 gross per annum (DOE)

Start: Flexible

We are looking for a full-time Housekeeper for a HNW private family in South Kensington, London.

This is a permanent live-out position where you will be contracted to work 11.30am – 8.30pm, 5 days per week. Ordinarily working Monday to Friday, with flexibility to work weekends when required.

The family have three children, they employ Nannies so no formal childcare will be required, however, the Housekeeper must be happy to work in a household with children. The family also have a small dog, and the Housekeeper will be expected to assist with his care and take him on walks.

The Housekeeper will be working within a small housekeeping team to ensure the property is maintained to a high standard.

The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of experience working as a Housekeeper ideally in a similar position. You will be an excellent communicator and have top organisational skills, and be professional and adaptable to the needs of the employer.

Duties and responsibilities;

Full housekeeping duties to maintain the household interiors Maintaining stock levels of cleaning products and household items Laundry and ironing; handwashing delicate items, and sewing/mending clothing, treating stained items, organising wardrobes, folding and putting away/hanging laundered items Organising wardrobes Running errands; grocery and personal shopping, collecting dry cleaning etc Reporting maintenance issues Accepting deliveries Travel preparation; packing and unpacking for travel

To be considered for this role you must;

Have 5+ years of experience working within a private household in a similar position Have excellent contactable references Possess (/be willing to get) an up-to-date DBS check Have a valid passport Be eligible to work within the UK Be fluent in English language
