Role: Live-out Housekeeper

Days: 5 days per week (including weekends when required)

Hours: 45 hours per week (typically 11:00am–8:00pm or 12:00pm–9:00pm)

Salary: £50,000 - £60,000 GPA (DOE)

We are seeking a dedicated, proactive and highly professional Housekeeper (who is happy with international travel) for a semi-formal, fully staffed private household in Chelsea, London, supporting two Principals. There are no children in the household; however, the Principals have dogs, so being dog-friendly is essential.

Working within a small, friendly team, your duties will involve maintaining the property to an exceptional standard throughout the day, including laundry and ironing (with care of fine garments), bedding changes, upkeep of furniture and delicate surfaces, wardrobe management, silver polishing, and packing & unpacking for travel.

Working 5 days per week, you must be flexible and willing to adapt to occasional changes in days and hours. Weekend work will be required when the Principals are in residence.

Being able to travel is essential. The role requires international travel approximately 3–6 times per year, primarily to the United States, as well as additional travel within the US and Europe for periods of several weeks at a time. Accommodation will be provided when travelling.

Candidates should be well-presented, discreet and accustomed to working to very high standards at all times. Excellent communication skills are essential.

The ability to cook simple meals would be advantageous (although not essential).

Excellent longevity in previous roles (5+ years preferred) and very good, contactable references for all previous positions are essential.
