Days: 5 days per week

Location: Rome, Italy, with international travel

Salary: €50,000–€75,000 gross per annum (depending on experience)

A busy private family relocating to Rome, Italy, is seeking a proactive, flexible and hands-on Live-in Housekeeper / Nanny to support the smooth running of their home.

This is a varied all-rounder position, ideally suited to a candidate who takes pride in maintaining exceptionally high standards and is confident combining housekeeping responsibilities with occasional childcare support.

Housekeeping duties will include the daily cleaning and upkeep of the property, ensuring the home is maintained to an excellent standard at all times. You will be responsible for laundry and ironing, including the care of delicate fabrics and high-quality garments, as well as wardrobe management, packing and unpacking for travel, household organisation and general support with the day-to-day running of the home.

The family have three children, therefore the successful candidate should be child-friendly and comfortable providing childcare support when required

The family travel frequently throughout the year and require a candidate who is fully flexible to travel internationally and accompany them between residences as needed

Trial days for this position will take place in Scandinavia prior to the family’s relocation to Rome.

Requirements:

• Legal right to work within the European Union

• Previous experience working within a private household environment

• Strong housekeeping, laundry and wardrobe management skills

• Child-friendly with experience supporting families

• Confident preparing simple family meals

• Flexible and willing to travel internationally

• Excellent communication and organisational skills

• A valid police check (or willingness to obtain one)

• Excellent, contactable references
