Days: Monday – Friday

Hours: 7.00am – 7.00pm (2-hour break)

Location: West London

Contract: Permanent

Salary: £50,000 - £60,000 gross per annum (DOE)

Accommodation: Provided

We are looking for a live-in Head Housekeeper for a private family in West London.

The Head Housekeeper will be working for an UHNW private family of three.

You will be joining a small household team including a Chef, PA and Part-time Housekeeper, and be responsible for overseeing the upkeep of the household interiors, to maintain the property to a high standard of cleanliness and organisation as well as managing household accounts, liaising with contractors etc.

You will not be required to travel in this role but when the family are away you will be responsible for the care of the family’s two cats, so it is essential that you are pet friendly.

The ideal candidate will have previously worked for an UHNW private family in London as a live-in, be highly professional and discreet and capable of working independently. A candidate who holds a driving license and is

confident driving in London would be a bonus but not essential. A vehicle can be provided for the occasional school drop offs/collections and errand running.

Interviewing/trialling now, start date flexible.

Duties and responsibilities;

Maintain the household to a high standard, supporting daily housekeeping and cleanliness
Manage all laundry requirements, including ironing and dry-cleaning coordination
Oversee property maintenance, repairs, and the smooth running of household systems and appliances
Liaise with and supervise contractors and service providers
Ensure household areas, contents, and storage is well organised at all times
Manage household supplies, groceries, and cleaning products
Assist with packing and unpacking for travel and events
Support front-of-house duties, including welcoming guests and serving meals when required
Prepare and serve breakfast
Receive, unpack, and organise deliveries
Run general errands, including shopping and school drop-offs
Provide occasional babysitting and ad-hoc childcare support
Pet care; support the care of the family’s two cats

To be considered for this role you must;

Have 3-5+ years of experience working as a Head Housekeeper within a private household
Have excellent contactable references
Be eligible to work within the UK
Hold a valid passport Hold a valid driving licence and be confident driving in London
Have (/ be willing to get) an up-to-date DBS certificate
