Description
We are a family looking for a warm, reliable live-in carer for our father, an elderly gentleman with mild dementia who is fully self-caring with gentle prompts. This is a direct family hire — no agency involved.
The Role Day-to-day responsibilities include medication prompting, meal preparation, light housekeeping, driving to appointments and outings, and providing companionship and reassurance. No personal care required.
What We're Looking For The ideal candidate will have previous experience with dementia, a patient and calm nature, and a full UK driving licence with their own reliable car. A care qualification is desirable but not essential — the right personality matters most.
What We Offer:
£100/day — flexible working pattern of 5, 6 or 7 days per week by mutual agreement
Private bedroom in a comfortable home near Mount Hawke
All meals and household bills included
Regular time off arranged flexibly to suit both parties
