Days: 5 days per week

Hours: 8-hour shifts on a rota basis

Salary: £46,000 - £52,000 gross per annum (DOE) + discretionary bonuses

A highly professional Live-out Housekeeper is sought for a full-time role within a fully staffed private residence located in West London.

Reporting directly to the Head Housekeeper and House Manager, you will work 5 days per week on a rotating schedule (including weekends when required), covering 8-hour shifts on a rota basis.

The ideal candidate will be detail-focused, team-oriented, and take pride in maintaining exceptional standards. You should be proactive, flexible, and willing to go above and beyond when necessary. Comfort working around children and family pets (dogs) is essential.

This position requires travel, so candidates must hold a valid UK or EU passport.

The salary for this role is approximately £46,000 - £52,000 GPA, with additional travel-related bonuses and discretionary incentives available.

Duties and Responsibilities

General housekeeping duties including deep cleaning
Maintaining a welcoming, well-organised environment
Managing and organising wardrobes, including all drawers and closet spaces
Overseeing daily wardrobe items and caring for a luxury shoe collection
Communicating with the Principals to ensure wardrobe and personal requirements are met
Monitoring and maintaining stock levels across all household areas, including bathrooms, storage, and back-of-house spaces
Supporting laundry operations (washing, ironing, sorting, stain removal, and coordinating dry cleaning) when the laundress is unavailable
Preparing for travel, including packing and unpacking belongings
Carrying out additional ad hoc tasks as required, demonstrating flexibility and a helpful attitude

Requirements

Have the legal right to work in the UK
Hold a valid DBS certificate or be willing to obtain one
Provide excellent contactable references
Have a minimum of 3–5 years’ experience working as a Housekeeper within a private household
