Description
Role: Housekeeper (Live-in or Live-out)
Hours: 40 hours per week
Location: Kensington, London
Contract: Permanent
Salary: £40,000 - £50,000 gross per annum (DOE)
Accommodation: Separate apartment can be provided
Start date: Flexible
We are seeking a full-time Housekeeper for a private household in Kensington, London, supporting a professional couple.
The position can be live-in or live-out. For a live-in candidate, a separate apartment close to the main residence can be provided.
The hours of work are 7 hours per day Monday – Friday plus 5 hours on Saturday.
The Housekeeper will work independently to maintain the principals’ apartment to a high standard of cleanliness and organisation. There are no children and no pets within this household.
The ideal candidate will be organised, discreet, and confident working independently, with strong attention to detail and a proactive approach.

Duties and responsibilities;
Full housekeeping duties including regular deep cleaning
Laundry and ironing
Organising wardrobes
Running errands
Ensuring the property is stocked with all necessary items
Reporting any maintenance issues / liaising with contractors
Assisting with travel preparation and packing
To be considered for this role you must;
Be eligible to work within the UK
Have 5+ years of experience working as a Housekeeper within a private household setting
Have excellent contactable references
Be fluent in English
Have (or be willing to obtain) an up-to-date DBS certificate
