Housekeeper / Household Assistant
We are a busy family looking for a reliable, organised and proactive Housekeeper / Household Assistant to help keep our home running smoothly.
We have a one-year-old child, dogs and cats, so we’re looking for someone who enjoys working in a family environment and is comfortable around children and pets.
The role is focused on maintaining a tidy, organised and welcoming home, helping with day-to-day household tasks and taking pride in creating a calm and well-run environment.
Responsibilities
General housekeeping and maintaining cleanliness throughout the home.
Tidying and organising living areas, bedrooms, bathrooms and kitchen spaces.
Laundry duties including washing, drying, folding and putting away clothes.
Ironing and care of household linens and clothing.
Changing bed linen and making beds.
Keeping household supplies organised and notifying us when items need replenishing.
Helping to maintain a safe, clean and hygienic environment for our family, including our child and pets.
Light pet-related housekeeping tasks, such as cleaning feeding areas and helping keep pet spaces tidy.
Occasional assistance with household organisation projects and seasonal deep cleaning.
About You
Previous housekeeping experience is preferred but not essential.
Organised, trustworthy and able to work independently.
Excellent attention to detail and a high standard of cleanliness.
Friendly, professional and respectful of family privacy.
Comfortable working in a home with young children, dogs and cats.
Able to prioritise tasks and take initiative when needed.
Reliable and dependable with a positive attitude.
We are looking for someone who takes pride in their work and enjoys helping a busy family keep their home clean, organised and running efficiently.
