A lovely household based in Weybridge, Surrey, are seeking an experienced full time live in housekeeper to take responsibility for the day-to-day care and upkeep of their home. This is an excellent opportunity for a reliable, organised and proactive candidate who takes pride in maintaining a clean, tidy and well-presented household.

The ideal candidate will have previous experience working in a private household and be confident managing all aspects of housekeeping independently. They should have excellent attention to detail, a good understanding of household routines and be able to use their initiative to ensure everything is kept to a high standard. Previous private household experience and excellent references are essential.

Duties include:

maintaining high standards of housekeeping throughout the home
cleaning bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchen and living areas
vacuuming, mopping, dusting and polishing household surfaces
laundry and ironing
making beds and changing bed linen
changing bed linen and towels regularly
wardrobe and clothing care
organising cupboards and household storage areas
maintaining a clean and organised kitchen
cleaning kitchen appliances and ensuring the kitchen is kept to a high standard
monitoring household supplies and replenishing essentials when required
receiving deliveries and assisting with household organisation
running occasional household errands when required
keeping the home tidy, organised and beautifully presented
assisting with general household tasks as required
ensuring the property remains clean, comfortable and running smoothly at all times
