A lovely household based in Bromley are seeking an experienced full time housekeeper to take responsibility for the day-to-day care and upkeep of their home. This is an excellent opportunity for a reliable, organised and proactive candidate who takes pride in maintaining a clean, tidy and well-presented household.

The ideal candidate will have previous experience working in a private household, be confident managing all aspects of housekeeping independently and have excellent attention to detail. A confident driver is essential for the role, with the successful candidate expected to assist with household errands and shopping when required. Excellent references are essential.

Duties include:

maintaining high standards of housekeeping throughout the home
cleaning bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchen and living areas
vacuuming, mopping, dusting and polishing household surfaces
laundry and ironing
making beds and changing bed linen
wardrobe and clothing care
organising cupboards and household storage areas
maintaining a clean and organised kitchen
cleaning kitchen appliances and ensuring the kitchen is kept to a high standard
monitoring household supplies and replenishing essentials
grocery shopping and household shopping when required
running household errands
driving for shopping, errands and appointments when required
receiving deliveries and assisting with household organisation
keeping the home tidy, organised and beautifully presented
assisting with general household tasks as required
ensuring the home remains clean, comfortable and running smoothly at all times
