A large estate in Surrey is seeking an experienced Housekeeper to join their housekeeping team.

Salary: £30,000- 40,000 gross per annum (Dependent on experience)

Overview:

Our client is seeking an exceptionally meticulous Housekeeper to help with the smooth running of their private estate in Surrey.

The ideal candidate will work under the Head Housekeeper and will integrate seamlessly with the existing housekeeping team. The family are looking for someone who is committed to a long-term position and who will in time, become a valued extension of the household.

The working hours are usually 9am to 6pm, Monday to Friday. However, when the family are in residence this may change to include earlier starts/later finishes and some weekend work. Working hours and days are scheduled well in advance to allow for changes to be easily accommodated.

As the family owns a dog, a genuine love of animals is essential. Due to the estate's rural location, a driver with their own car is essential. For those who wish to live in, a private flat with an ensuite bedroom and kitchenette is available. However, the family will also consider local candidates on a live out basis.

Duties included not limited to:

Traditional housekeeping duties, such as cleaning, mopping dusting and vacuuming
Caring for valuable artwork, antiques and flooring throughout the property
Monitor household cleaning supplies, conducting regular stock checks and replenishing as needed
Manage laundry and ironing, including delicate and high value garments, overseeing wardrobe organisation.
Assisting with meal preparation and post meal clearing, maintain a clean and orderly kitchen environment.
Maintaining the property in an immaculate and organised state, ensuring all areas of the household reflect standards of excellence.

Key criteria:

Drivers licence
A clear communicator and a team player
At least 5 years’ experience in a private household
Proven longevity in previous roles
