Age UK West Sussex, Brighton & Hove is recruiting self‑employed domestic cleaners and home helpers across all areas of West Sussex and Brighton & Hove.

This role is ideal if you are looking for:

Cleaning jobs near you
Flexible, self‑employed cleaning work
Local domestic cleaning or home helper work
Community‑based roles supporting older people

You will be working in clients’ own homes, helping older people live independently and comfortably.

What does the Domestic Cleaner / Home Helper role involve?

Domestic cleaning (general household cleaning tasks)
Light household support
Shopping support and errands
Companionship and social interaction

Pay & flexibility

£14.00 – £16.50 per hour (location dependent)
Minimum commitment: 6 hours per week
Flexible hours to suit your availability
Monday to Friday work (no late nights)

Self‑employed requirements

This is a self‑employed Domestic Cleaner / Home Helper role, so you must:

Manage your own tax and National Insurance
Hold your own public liability insurance
