DAILY SENIOR HOUSEKEEPER/LAUNDRESS/FAMILY COOK

SOUTH KENSINGTON, SW7 5 days per week including occasional weekend.

Essential Requirements: Experienced private household housekeeper with high end fabric knowledge, packing and unpacking. Enthusiastic, self-starter, kind and with a “can-do” attitude, able to remain calm under pressure and with high attention to detail.

You will work as part of a small domestic team, working closely with the principal Lady’s Maid and part time housekeepers.

This vacancy requires a very flexible, experienced housekeeper with great attention to detail and experience in the laundering and care of household linens and fine fabrics.

Duties will include but not limited to:

Daily upkeep /cleaning of the apartment, working closely with the team. Laundering of household linens, experienced with handling, hand washing and caring for delicate fabrics. Assisting with Packing and unpacking of multiple suitcases. Assisting the Ladies Maid with general maintenance and care of the principal’s personal suite, general housekeeping – changing bedlinen, towels, bathroom care, all to a high standard with attention to detail. Ability to prepare fresh light healthy dishes. Serve breakfast occasionally, serving light snacks and basic meals when requested. Assist when the principal entertains. Arranging and caring for flowers, care of indoor plants. Local light errands and fresh food shopping. Meet and greet guests, supervise contractors and liaise with the principals PA.

This vacancy does require some flexibility Daily working hours of 8 hrs per day will vary, for example 8am-4pm, 11-7pm, 9-6pm depending on the principal’s schedule. Primarily a Monday to Friday role but occasional weekend working when the principal is in residence will also be required.

Starting Salary circa £50-55,000 Gross depending on previous experience. Longevity in a similar role and strictly non-smoker essential. (HU4403)
