Cat Care Assistant

Description

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented part-time cleaner to assist with maintaining cleanliness and order in our cattery. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, be proactive, and demonstrate a high standard of cleanliness.

Responsibilities:

General Cleaning: Dusting, vacuuming, sweeping, and mopping floors.

Surface Cleaning:

Cleaning and sanitizing surfaces, cages, litter trays, food bowls, shelving, and appliances.

Tidying: Changing beds, and making up cat beds.

Waste Management:

Emptying litter trays, bins and ensuring proper disposal of waste.

Special Projects:

Occasionally assisting with deep cleaning tasks as needed.

Requirements:

Experience: Previous experience in a similar role is preferred but not essential as full training will be given.

Skills: Attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to work independently.

Reliability:

Punctuality and reliability are essential.

Minimum Requirements:

Must not be allergic to cats/ kittens.

Must be pet friendly and a passionate attitude towards cats.

Hours of work:

Alternate days, minimum 9 hours per week, timings flexible. Minimum 3 hours shift. Overtime available.

Cash in hand paid weekly.
