Description

We have a great opportunity for an experienced Housekeeper/Cook to join a private household in Wimbledon Village, working for a single gentleman.

This is a hands-on role in a small team, so you’ll need to be confident working independently and happy taking full responsibility for the smooth running of the home.

There is a full-time chef, however you’ll be responsible for preparing breakfast each day, cooking at weekends, and stepping in when the chef is off. Because of this, strong cooking skills are essential. You should be confident cooking to a good standard and have real-life experience working in professional kitchens or similar environments, with an eye for presentation and plating.

We’re looking for a true whizz – someone with strong product knowledge and solid experience in a HNW household.

Experience working on yachts or in chalets would be excellent for this role!

Experience managing a large home is essential, along with being reliable, trustworthy, highly capable, and having a great eye for detail.

Responsibilities:

Laundry, ironing, pressing and repair of clothes and cleaning of shoes.

Assist the chef with planning, preparing and cooking individual meals

Prepare and deliver lunch and evening meals on time when the chef is absent.

Preparing breakfast daily

Arranges cleaning and periodic deep cleaning of kitchen, bathrooms and bedrooms

Undertakes a weekly stock take of household supplies, toiletries, and provides an up-to-date inventory to ensure fully stocked and disposal of out-of-date items.

Receives and welcomes guests, accepts packages and deliveries

Coordinates scheduling and calendar management,

Runs errands for the employee

Liaising with contractors as necessary.

Must be within a 45-minute commute to Wimbledon village.

Schedule: 1 week on/ 1 week off

Mon - Fri 7:30am - 4:30pm

Sat – Sun 7:30am - 7:00pm

Salary: £60k – £65k GPA
