Nelly was originally sold to her first home as a young puppy. Despite being fed, warm & safe in a home, she simply wasn't bothered with. Nelly would spend her days downstairs in the kitchen/garden alone. Nelly has always been friendly & loved greeting visitors.

Nelly then went onto her second home (who had her brother) & subsequently she fell pregnant & gave birth to 9 puppies. Nelly did exceptionally well as a mother & her puppies have gone onto new homes.

Nelly is looking for a family that will include her in everyday life & give her the opportunity to have all the fun & love she deserves.

Nelly has a beautiful personality. I'm confident in saying Nelly can live with other dogs (I have 6 myself) & children. I do not have children, but her second home allowed her to socialise with children with absolutely no problems. Nelly has shown little to no interest in cats, but I will continue to access her behaviour around cats. I am confident she could live with dog savvy cat(s)

I have been working on recall with Nelly, which is coming along beautifully. Nelly generally listens everytime & can be placed on a lead with ease. Nelly WILL run to greet other dogs, but is absolutely fine! I can truly say, I haven't seen a bad bone in her body.

Nelly has had an opportunity to experience so much with myself, including playing with toys. Nelly loves toys & will play alone contently.

Nelly is not destructive, fully housed trained & currently sleeps downstairs at nighttime.

I would say Nelly is a small/medium size dog. I'd compare her size to a Cocker Spaniel perhaps.

I personally haven't had a chance to leave Nelly at home & build her independence. I believe she will adapt quickly if implemented right away. It helps that she isn't destructive, but having multiple homes must leave her a little unsettled when somebody leaves. I don't know. I will update if/when I get a chance to access the matter.

Nelly travels in the car with no issues.

I love Nelly & would keep her if I didn't have 6 dogs already. She is practically perfect.
