Ultimate Pincher Puppy

This is Gerrard, he is a Doberman x Perro de Presa Canario. Dobermans have lost their guard instinct after years of being bred for showing so the Ultimate Pincher has been created to have a dog with the intelligence and train ability of a Doberman but with extremely strong protection and guarding instincts. He is 6 months old, up to date with all injections and he’s chipped to me. Regularly flea treated with advantage and wormed with drontal and he is walked for about an hour and a half each day. He is crate trained and toilet trained, he is fine being left for periods of time although he is an early riser and needs letting out at around 7am. Sad reason for sale but I wasn’t expecting to fall pregnant and he’s too much of a powerful dog for me to continue walking him while I’m pregnant or even after I’ve had the baby it seems it will be impossible to control him while pushing a pram. He’s very reactive to other dogs and must be kept on a lead at all times, he’s a powerful muscular dog with strong guarding instincts. He is wary of people who aren’t his immediate family, we have a very close bond and he would protect me at any cost but I can’t take him for walks anymore as if he sees another dog he could possibly pull me over and being pregnant that could harm my unborn baby. I wouldn’t say he’s a family dog, he’s very boisterous because he is at the end of the day still a puppy, and a massive puppy at that. He will knock small children over, I certainly wouldn’t trust him alone with my children hence why he’s crate trained. If you’re looking for a protection dog or guard dog then Gerrard is the one for you. He’s extremely intelligent and will pick up protection training very quickly. He’s just turned 6 months old and is massive already, he will make 76cm at the wither and will weigh about 130lbs when fully grown so classed as a giant breed of dog. He is full muscle but wont be fully grown until 30 months as this cross breed matures slowly. Please don’t enquire about him unless you’ve had experience with a dog like this. He needs strict training and someone who can fully handle him. He’s fine with cats though, my cats walk into his crate and eat from his bowl. He’s also ok with my 6 year old Labrador they have always got on although he does play rough and she does get quite fed up of him at times as she’s not a young dog anymore and likes her peace. Also he’s had a health check and has no problems at all.
