Description

With a heavy heart I'm having to re-home my boy (12months old) as life circumstances have changed and new work commitments mean my partner cannot always look after him when I'm not there and I think he would have a far better quality of life if he was in a house with other dogs.


He's a very friendly if introduced correctly to other people and dogs, he his a guardian breed so new owners will have to be versed in understanding what that entails and how to advocate for him as a guardian breed, he's naturally suspicious of strangers so you have to follow the correct procedure when welcoming guests over (general big dog stuff) but again he is super friendly and playful, apart from being a teenager and being stubborn at times he actually does really well!

His only issue we've been working on is calming his arousal around other dogs on walks as he gets too exited and wants to play with them which can lead into frustration but this common teenage behaviour that he's slowly been getting better with, he doesn't typically recourse guard with toys but can with high value food or chews which we've actively been trying to train him out of but of course all things take time.

Diet: he can be allergic to chicken, grains etc. so any changes to his diet must be slow and gradual.
