Staffy dog rehome

Description

💔 A heartbreaking decision — finding our Rocky a new home 💔

I never thought I would have to write this, but we need to find a loving forever home for our 16-month-old black male Staffy, Rocky. He is neutered.

With both myself and my husband Matthew now too unwell, we can no longer give Rocky the care, exercise and attention he needs and deserves. Admitting that is absolutely devastating.

Rocky is part of our family. When we brought him home, we imagined a lifetime with him, and accepting that we can’t give him that ourselves breaks our hearts. We love him, but our health has changed what we are able to manage, and we have to put his needs first.

This isn’t a decision we have made lightly. We want to find someone who can offer him time, patience, stability and a home where he will be loved for the rest of his life.

Please only message if you are seriously interested. Tell us a little about yourself, your home and your experience with dogs. We’ll happily talk honestly about Rocky’s needs and routines so we can make sure it’s the right match.

Please be kind. We are already heartbroken without having to defend how difficult this is. If you can’t offer Rocky a home, a share could help us find the right person. 🐾🖤
